Emelie is delighted to return to Washington Stage Guild to portray the title role in George Bernard Shaw's Major Barbara. Performances run November 17 - December 11.​
Emelie is an AEA actor and singer. Her contracts have taken her Off-Broadway, on national tours, and to regional theatres across the country. In 2012, she was a recipient of the Roger Sturtevant EMC Musical Theatre Award. In addition to stage work, Emelie has filmed television episodes, commercials, and industrials, and freelanced as a voice actor. Formerly, she was based in New York City and southern California. She is represented by FireStarter Entertainment.

Emelie is married to fellow actor Nathan Whitmer. The two of them live with their three young children and one black cat.
